Stan Fletcher

Stan is a writer, guitar player, runner, dreamer, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus of Nazareth.  "I love my kids, guitars and motorcycles, epic adventures, road trips, good food and friends.  I also really love to be in God's presence, particularly using the musical gifts He has given me."

Stan used to be scared of the dark.

Stan lost his marriage to depression, hopelessness and turning away from God - the most painful time in his life.  He's written about it fairly extensively here.  He is doing all he can to rectify everything that God desires to be rectified, and trusting God with the outcome of his life.   After years of guilt, he finally feels forgiven by God.

Stan broke his front teeth out in a skateboarding accident in sixth grade.

Stan’s hubs require little, if any, research. 

Stan is probably funnier than you, unless of course you’re funnier than him.

Stan also writes some serious stuff, even some poetry.  He is a deeply emotional, 'feeling' person who has embraced this part of his personality after years of trying to deaden it through various means.

Stan has vowed to God to not cut his hair until he has peace about a very specific issue in his life.  When that's resolved, he'll write a hub about it.

Stan was a Cub Scout until his hat was accidently run over by his scout leader.  He was embarrassed to go to Cub Scouts with a big tread mark across his hat.

Stan has produced two incredible offspring, both of whom are heading toward spectacular success.
